Third annual 5K “Stor’n Mormon Fun Run” at 9 a.m., rain or shine at Cartwright Park, running down portion of the Mineral Wells Trailway. Family event, general public welcome to participate. Run, walk, stroll or crawl, enjoy the fun regardless of age or physical ability.

Oct. 25

Christway Baptist Church on Hwy 199 west of Springtown is having a Free Fall Festival starting at 4 pm. There will be free food, games and prizes for the whole family.

Bethesda United Methodist Church Trick or Trunk — Starts at 6 p.m. — located north of Garner at 6657 N FM 113. The community is invited to come and to participate. Hot dogs will be provided. Best dressed contest. Best decorated trunk contest. No cost! Prizes awarded.
