Peaster survives Parker County first-week gloom

The Peaster Lady Greyhounds will be the only Parker County team to see more daylight in the playoff tunnel. The Lady Hounds defeated Eastland in Breckinridge Thursday, 25-9, 25-11, 25-14 in an area round match. The regional Quarterfinal game will be held in Jacksboro on Tuesday, at 8 p.m. The Lady Hounds will play Henrietta. Peaster's record on the year improves to 33-4

Weatherford JV falls to Burleson

The JV white team lost to Burleson, 22-26, finishing their season 3-3. The JV blue team lost to Burleson, 26-38. They finished 4-4 and 4-2 in district.

Weatherford 9th grade sweeps Burleson

The Weatherford 9th grade C team won, 28-20. The B team won 15-8, followed by the A team with a 35-6 win.
