SURPRISE, Ariz. — Deborah Ann De Haven-Green, age 45, of Surprise, died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Del Webb Hospital.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Christian Church of the Valley with the Pastor Robert Fesmire officiating.

Deborah was born September 25, 1963, in Clinton, IA, to Richard and Marilyn Busk De Haven. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1982. Deborah married Richard Green Jr. on June 18, 1988. They had two daughters, Chelsea Renee, 16, and Tiffany Nicole, 13. She was employed with Discover Card as a human resource manager for 15 years.

Deborah was a volunteer for Habitat Humanity. She was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities and her work. She enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family. Her proudest achievements were her daughters.

Deborah is survived by her father, husband, two daughters; a brother, Hugh Johnson of Marion, IA; three sisters, Renee Pendley, Yvette De Haven, Nicole De Haven, all of Clinton, IA; six nieces and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn; grandparents, Russell and Lucille Busk, and Joseph and Ruth De Haven.

Discover Card has set up a memorial trust in Deborah’s honor for her two daughters. The fund is through Wells Fargo Bank and is called the Chelsea and Nikki Green Donation Fund. Donations to this fund can be made to Wells Fargo or through the family.
