ECIA seeks input on strategy report

DUBUQUE — The East Central Intergovernmental Association is preparing its 2018 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy annual report, outlining the economic goals, objectives and achievements of the region.

ECIA is a designated Regional Economic Development District, making it a focal point for economic development assistance in the region. ECIA assists local governments and development groups provide financial assistance to new and expanding businesses. As a designated Regional Economic Development District, ECIA is required every five years to submit to the Economic Development Administration an updated CEDS document, and every year to submit an annual report.

Public input and review is encouraged. The document can be viewed at, or contact the East Central Intergovernmental Association at (563) 690-5703. Comments from the public must be received no later than Dec. 21.
