MORRISON, Ill. —Morrison resident Andrea Ramirez has a new twist for 104 W. Main St., in Morrison.

The former Quinn’s Jewelry store is taking on the name “Embraced." Ramirez is a certified Reiki master/teacher, with overall wellness and helping others as her priority. Embraced will feature Reiki sessions and one-on-one consultations, essential oils, diffusers, crystals, jewelry and much more. Night and evening classes and events are offered throughout the month with signups in store or online.

Her business will be a gathering place where patrons can sit and relax while enjoying her coffees and teas or browsing through the many locally made unique items for sale.

Embraced also will feature “Dr. Smoothie Refreshers,” which are cool, fresh-flavor combinations with the functional benefit of a natural boost of energy.

“Our ‘Dr. Smoothie Refreshers are handcrafted with real fruit juice and green coffee extract that gives a natural energy boost," said Ramirez. "A healthier alternative to sugary water and energy drink mixes. A recent study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association reports that consuming 32 ounces of some energy drinks can cause electrical disturbances in the heart for up to four hours after you have had the drink. I believe our refreshers are a much tastier and healthier alternative than those currently on the market.”
