Kiwanis, CFD host fire safety house events

Clinton Kiwanis Club in conjunction with the Clinton Fire Department recently hosted its 27th annual Children’s Fire Safety House at Central Fire Station. Children ages 3-8 learned to get out of a simulated burning building and could complete an obstacle course. Fire station tours also were given. Clinton Kiwanis donated the bikes for the event. Pictured at the bike presentation are, back row from left, Clinton Kiwanis Club President Anne West; Firefighters Jordan Moore, Matt Cain, Zac Reifinger and Greg Hofsommer; and Kiwanis members Matt Parbs and Louise Laurent. Front row, from left, are bike winners William W., Jaxxsen K., Laken W., and Samantha V.
