CLINTON — The Clinton Area Chamber of Chamber’s Local & Government Affairs Committee again will host Legislative Coffees during the 2019 Legislative Session.
Have coffee with state Reps. Mary Wolfe and Norlin Mommsen and newly elected state Sen. Chris Cournoyer and hear their views on items making their way through the legislature. This will be followed by a question-and-answer period. Questions may be filled out by those in attendance. The moderator then will direct questions to the respective legislator.
The events will be on Saturdays – Jan. 12, Feb. 16, March 9 and April 13 – at 9 a.m. at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, 721 S. Second St. in Clinton. The events are free and open to the public.
The coffees are co-sponsored by the Clinton Regional Development Corp., the Clinton Education Association and the American Association of University Women. Any questions can be directed to the Chamber office at 242-5702.
