CLINTON – The Canadian Pacific Holiday train will pull into Clinton about 6:40 p.m. Saturday near the Sawmill Museum in Lyons. Organizers have released maps of parking areas and free shuttle routes for the event.

Buses will shuttle residents from Eagle Heights Elementary School, 1350 Main Ave.; the Clinton County Administration Office, 1900 N. Third St.; and First Baptist Church, 2020 N. Third St. to the corner of McKinley Street and Main Ave. beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Buses will run return routes until 8 p.m.

The Holiday Train has been raising money and collecting food for local food banks for 21 years. Visitors to the Holiday Train in Clinton may drop off food donations at the trolley on Main Avenue before enjoying the Holiday Train’s musical entertainment, which will be visible from both sides of the train.

Handicap parking is available near the viewing area.

The train will leave Clinton at 7:15 beneath a display of fireworks.
