Supper in a sack

Volunteer Lenny Pease takes money from Jim Carey during a drive-up soup supper Thursday at the Clinton County Historical Society Museum. The nonprofit organization kicked its annual soup supper to the curb this year to avoid spreading coronavirus. Last year the museum prepared 100 meals and ran out of food within an hour an a half, said the Historical Society’s Mike Kearney. This year the group prepared 200 meals and delivered them to customers waiting in their cars. The $5 meal included chili, cornbread, applesauce and a cookie. Supper in a sack
