FULTON, Ill. — The Fulton City Council will consider an ordinance for the 2018 tax levy at Monday's City Council meeting.
The Fulton City Council agenda includes a motion to approve an ordinance for the 2018 tax levy at a 4.81 percent increase. The agenda also includes a motion to approve an ordinance to abate the 2012A and 2012B bond tax levies for the 2018 taxes and an ordinance to abate the 2012C bond tax levies for 2018 taxes.
The agenda also includes a motion to approve the use of funds from fund 65 to buy out the balance of the revolving loan fund loan to Danielson Properties of $11,804.72. The agenda under business lists an ordinance to approve accepting the donation of property at 505 Ninth Ave. from Wells Fargo.
The Committee of the Whole Agenda under public input and presentations includes a Mediacom proposed rate increase and naming the access road for the official plat for the new Industrial Park. The agenda also includes a reminder that the following meeting agenda will include opening bids for the sale of the Drives Building. A motion to award contracts for abatement and demolition of the Drives Building will occur if the bids are rejected.
The Fulton City Council is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday. The Committee of the Whole meeting will begin following the regular City Council meeting.
