Three local Kiwanis Clubs donate to Discovery Center

Three local Kiwanis Clubs have donated a combined total of $4,000 to Clinton’s Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center over the past year. The mission of Kiwanis is to serve the children of the world, and leaders say the clubs also choose to offer help to local children of all ages. In addition to supporting the children’s museum, the clubs conduct several projects each year to aid local students, including scholarship programs for high schoolers. Pictured, from left, are Kristine Wiersema, Clinton Kiwanis Club president, presenting a check from her club to Sandy Gabriel, Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center board of directors president. Representing other local clubs are Camanche Kiwanis Club President Donna Current, and Fulton Kiwanis Club President Chris Meyers.
