United Way to host Collaborative Services Day

CLINTON — The United Way of Clinton County, Iowa will host a Collaborative Services day on March 26. It will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Clinton County Administration Building, located at 1900 N. Third St.

It is open to all residents of Clinton County and includes Clinton, Camanche, DeWitt, and surrounding areas.

The Collaborative Services Day will serve as a “one-stop shop” when individuals and households can sign up for needed services at one location. This helps to reduce transportation time and increases time management, without redundancy. Those wanting to sign up for services need to bring identification, a Social Security card, and a copy of a utility bill.

A variety of agencies have already committed to being there. These agencies include Community Action of Eastern Iowa, Information, Referral & Assistance Services, The Salvation Army – Pathways to Hope, Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center, the Iowa Department of Human Services, Family Resources, and the Area Substance Abuse Council/New Directions. More may sign up before the event occurs.

United Way of Clinton County, Iowa brings people together to assess and address needs to improve local communities. The organization’s focus is on Health/Wellness, Education, and Financial Stability. This is accomplished by being a connection point and bringing together individuals, businesses, industry, and nonprofit organizations to make positive changes in the community.
