CLINTON — Vibrant Credit Union will officially open its second Clinton branch next week.
The opening is set for Monday at its new office at 2445 Valley West Drive.
To celebrate, residents may stop at the new branch for free ice cream this week from Vibrant’s ice cream truck.
The full-service branch features a 2,500 square foot building with three drive-up and lobby service windows, and a drive-up ATM.
Clinton branch Manager Chelsea Grell said Vibrant is excited about the continue growth, especially in the Clinton area.
“We’re pleased to add a full-service branch to meet the needs of our members,” Grell said.
Vibrant also has another branch in Clinton, formerly named DHCU, which opened in April 2012.
Vibrant CEO and President Matt McCombs said anyone in the community can become a member.
“We’ve been serving the Quad-Cities since 1935,” McCombs said. “Our Clinton location has had such success it only makes sense to open another location in this great community.”
Vibrant is opening three new branches in 2015, and anticipating opening two to three more locations each year for the foreseeable future.
Vibrant serves the entire Quad-City, Clinton, Geneseo, Illinois, and surrounding communities in Iowa and Illinois. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works within 50 miles of any Vibrant branch. Vibrant has eight member service locations in Bettendorf, Clinton, Davenport, East Moline, Illinois, Geneseo, Illinois, Milan, Illinois, and Moline, Illinois.
