MORRISON, Ill. — The Whiteside Forum continues its series of expert speaker presentations with Kimberly Zarecor, principal investigator of a National Science Foundation Project, looking at small and shrinking rural communities in Iowa.
Attendees will discuss how small rural communities can shrink but still thrive.
Zarecor is an associate professor in architecture in the School of Design at Iowa State University in Ames, and will lead the session via teleconference.
Her presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Program Room of the Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison St., Morrison. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation which, as always, is free and open to the public.
