CLINTON — A Clinton man was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with a robbery at Clinton National Bank.
Raymond J. Reves, 57, of Clinton, is charged with one count of first-degree robbery, according to a Clinton Police Department media release issued Thursday night.
The release states that at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Clinton police officers responded to Clinton National Bank, 235 Sixth Ave. South, for a reported robbery. The suspect entered the bank and demanded money then fled the bank with money. police said.
Officers were provided a description of the bank robbery suspect and, about five minutes after the initial call, located an individual matching the suspect’s description. Reves was taken into custody at Sixth Avenue South and Fourth Street. The money was recovered, police said.
