Retired fire chief: Thank you, Clinton!

As I wind down my time here at the Clinton Fire Department, I feel it important to thank the entire Gateway area for your constant support of our great organization over the years.

We, as members of CFD, are here to serve you... that is our mission. But in return, you have always been there for us, most recently evidenced by your support this past January. Thank you from all of us!

On a personal note, I want to express thanks for the privilege it has been to lead this outstanding organization since 2012. It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life to be entrusted to serve as fire chief. I have been blessed to have the support of our dedicated members, city staff, elected officials and the citizens of Clinton, and I’m appreciative for the input that has been provided over the years to help us make decisions that give the community the fire and EMS protection that they deserve.

I am thankful for such a fulfilling career but it is time to move on to life’s next chapter and whatever that holds in store. I have been so lucky to have the support of friends, family, my loving wife, and my community. I look forward to remaining a proud Clintonian and doing whatever I can to make Clinton a great place to live, work and play. On behalf of Mary and me, thank you Clinton for everything!
