Two River Queens made the Mississippi Athletic Conference All-Conference list when the conference released it’s selections earlier this week.
Brooke Mulholland garnered first team honors. Mulholland did a little bit of everything for the Queens, serving primarily as their setter for the last four years.
The Kirkwood Community College – commit was third in the conference in assists with 514 even though she shared the setting duties much of the season.
She also had 264 digs, which also ranked in the top ten of the conference
She finished with 146 kills as well, and put away 28 aces this season.
Rylie Mussman was named an honorable mention. Mussman, a junior, served as the libero and defensive anchor for the River Queens.
Mussan’s speed was impressive on the back line, leaving her with 393 digs, second in the conference by just six. She also bumped up plenty of balls that landed for kills, finishing with 85 assists this season.
She had an additional 15 aces.
The Clinton varsity volleyball team finished fifth in the MAC with a 4-4 record (13-23 overall). They ended their season in the regional final for the second consecutive year, falling to the No. 10 Western Dubuque Bobcats just on Monday.
The sophomore team tied for third in the conference with a 5-3 conference record.
