SPRING VALLEY, Ill. – The Fulton Steamers just can’t stop winning.
Even on a day when they didn’t golf their best, the Fulton golf team still managed to pull out a victory in a triangular on the road at Spring Creek Golf Course on Wednesday.
The Steamers beat both St. Bede and Morrison with a team score of 179.
“It would be an understatement to say we weren’t very good tonight,” head coach Kevin VerHoeven said. “But that happens every once in a while and in the big picture we won and nothing changes going forward.”
Andrew Schrader was the meet medalist with a 41. Patrick Wiebenga finished with a 42 and Ian Wiebenga with a 46.
Josh VanderPloeg, Landon Meyers and Alex Hartman came in with 50, 51, and 51 respectively.
